Well, here we are, back in the daily grind. It's so strange how I get bored of everyday life and want to branch out of routine, but then I yearn to be back in routine again... Anyways, the past week has been very very fun!
Keith Urban was absolutely amazing. I'm not sure that I can say anything that would actually explain how amazing the concert was.
We were super nervous about being late, so we left really early Wednesday morning. Luckily we arrived at GM Place in Vancouver at 3:30- about 4 hours early! It was pouring rain, so we parked our car and found refuge in an international mall down the road.
Finally it was time for the concert! First was Lady Antebellum who did awesome, but it was so hard to wait for Keith. When he came out on stage the excitement filled the whole stadium- it was such a thrill! I had so much fun dancing and singing (I knew all the words) and being amazed at his mad guitar skills. It was over so fast, but was worth every penny.
Then came Dave and Laura's wedding. So crazy, but so fun. It was a supremely beautiful day with a gorgeous bride. Laura looked exactly as I always dreamed she would on her wedding day! I did cry a little bit, couldn't help it because it was so romantic and nice.
Mom did such a great job pulling everything together- the decor was so simple and classic. All the details worked out beautifully!I still have a hard time believing that my little sister is a married woman now! I guess it'll sink in eventually... I am excited to have a new brother in the family!
Life is so good, isn't it?
Great pictures, I will have to grab my glasses and see the other ones that you have, and the videos too. Thanks for all your great help with Laura and Daves wedding.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had great seats at the concert!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad we were able to come to Laura and Dave's wedding! I still can't believe Laura's married either. In my mind she's still little curly haired Laura in Grade 7 :)
