Well, here I am again. I'm not sure why I haven't blogged in a while, maybe I've been busy, but maybe there was nothing to really blog about. Our calender has been pretty packed with Jr. Youth events, Thanksgiving dinners, and waiting for the elusive payday.
Ryan's LPN licence was in the mail, making him unable to work until it came. We waited a very long time, then decided to e-mail the government to see what the matter was. Turns out they were missing a transcript and didn't think it was important to let us know!
But it's all worked out now- the papers did come and then so did the work. He has worked five 12 hour shifts and one 8 hour shift in the past two weeks- so that's awesome! He was pretty nervous to work again after having such a long break- but is doing really well. One gentleman told Ry that he is "better than all the women" and is the only one who puts his eye drops in properly. So that's pretty cool. I'm really proud of my husband- he sure didn't pick the easiest profession!
Praise be to the Heavenly Father, who has us in His mighty hands the whole way. We have made it through another trying time by His grace. The lessons are worth the pain.
"I will lift up my eyes to the mountains;
From where shall my help come?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth."
- Psalm 121:1&2
Oo, that's exciting that he's started! I'm sure he does very well. Miss you guys!
